Today was this year’s last English class. We played games using the English we learnt this year！
今日は今年度最後の英語授業でした。今まで勉強してきた英語を使ってみんなでゲームをしました！
First, we sang the Bingo song, and then we played bingo, with colors, numbers and shapes.
まず、ビンゴの歌を歌い、色・形・数字のビンゴをしました。
Then, we split into two teams: yellow and orange.
その後、黄色チームとオレンジチームに別れました。
We went on a treasure hunt!
There were clues written in English hidden around the school.
宝探しをしました！
学校内には英語で書かれたヒントが隠されていました。

黄いチームはヒントを読んでいました。
And this is team orange completing a mission with the Principal.
そして、オレンジチームは校長先生とミッションをしました。
The treasure was newspaper swords!
宝物は新聞の剣でした！
The paper swords were for playing piñata. Pinata is a custom that is popular in Mexico, as well as America and Europe. It is often played at birthday parties. Children wear blindfolds and hit a papier-mâché container that is hung from the ceiling. Usually sweets are inside.
新聞の剣はピニャータ用です。ピニャータは元々メキシコからきて、現在はアメリカやヨーロッパで人気があるものです。子どもの誕生日パーティーでよくします。目隠しながら棒で天井から掛けた張り子の容器を打ちます。中身にはお菓子がはいっています！

Inside the piñata there were senbei, which everyone ate together!
私たちのピニャータの中にせんべいがはいていました。みんなで食べました！
This year’s English classes have been a lot of fun.
